I am a leech

I feel like a leech...thriving on the fruits of labor that my labmates had done so far. I can't produce a single thing out on my own. And hence for the upcoming presentation which I have to do for the visiting guest, I had to resort to introducing the microarray work done by the team as a whole.

As if I am the most senior person in the team.
As if I am the most eligible soul in the team to do this.
As if I contributed the most.
As if I had participated in their work.

I am none of the above.
I am a leech. A blood-sucking person.
That's what I am.
