Was looking through the orbituaries of Sunday Times just now and I realized that Christmas is never going to be the same since 2004 Tsunami Day.
Tens of thousands of lives were lost in a single day...very much like the mass Destruction Day. I have always tried to avoid viewing real footages of the Tsunami. That day, when I caught it on TV accidentally, I was so appalled to know how vulnerable and unreal our lives can be. This moment you may be very much enjoying yourself. And the next moment, you may be gone.
God had forsaken them on that very day. And now their relatives seek condolences by wishing that the deceased are enjoying themselves in Heaven. Ironic.
Be strong. Be happy. Spread the hope around.
